Im Dee Other Chip, otherwise known as Spanky, is my 16.1 hand Quarter Horse gelding. Spanky is 5 years old as of this February. I bought him when he was only 3 years old and since then we have developed a really strong bond. We work very well together in riding and just playing around. He spends his summers in training with Erin Davis and his winters at home one our five acres.
This summer has been full of showing and includes some really great achievements that we have done together. This year marks the first year that we have shown english and western and we have done great! At both the Monroe shows we worked awesome together, but the competition was just too tuff, but Moses Lake was a totally different story... we decided to go for the Novice Youth All Around award. This involves going in halter, and just look at Spanky, he's not a halter horse. But we did it anyway and came to a phenomal finish and took home the All Around Award!!! I'll have to get a picture of the statue on here soon because it is so cool. We have two more shows left this year, both in Monroe so if you stop by make sure you look for us!
